DriveABLE Assessment Centre

St. Mary's General Hospital and The Wellness Rehabilitation Centre officially opened the doors at their new location in Kitchener, Ontario. DriveABLE is proud to be one of the assessments of choice for the centre.

Clearly the initial response from physicians and care groups within the community indicated a strong need for the assessment. "The Wellness Rehabilitation Centre of St. Mary's General Hospital recognized that the services of medical driving assessments were void in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. We therefore responded to the emergent need in the community to develop a quality driving assessment tool to make our regions roads safer and minimize the burden on the individuals being tested. After researching the options available, St. Mary's General Hospital pursued the DriveABLE option as being the number one program of choice," stated LuAnn Skovsgaard, manager of the Wellness Centre.

So sorry for all the horrific rain and duecrsttion out there! It does boggle the mind, and I've seen some pretty good doses of rain with and without hurricanes attached. I have to say I agree with the idea that hitting the big 50 was a time of rcleeftion and have been enjoying the path of enlightenment, for the most part. I may think I am 35 but my body disagrees. I will be 51 on Sunday and have learned to let go of stuff that rattles around in my head and keep trying to find what it is I want to do with the rest of my life. I find it kind of exciting really.
